Jared has actively engaged with the local political landscape in the Manawatū-Whanganui and Wairarapa regions to give voice to community-centric values:
- 2023 General Election: Stood as an Independent candidate for the Wairarapa Electorate, championing systemic reform rooted in spiritual and ethical principles.
- 2022 Local Elections: Campaigned for the South Tararua General Ward of the Tararua District Council, emphasizing localized accountability and service.
Appearance
- Jared’s current physical appearance includes a decent beard and longer hair than most males. This has lead many in Pahiatua to refer to him as looking like Jesus or some other biblical/ancient figure for these reasons.
